Integrated Drilling and Production System

IDPS description

One Integrated Unit

The Integrated Drilling and Production System (IDPS) is fully assembled and tested onshore, and pre installed on well location prior to rig arrivial, and is designed to allow the full well construction program to be executed through the system.

Installation and retrieval

The IDPS is installed and retrieved by vessel and ROV. No rig will be required.

IDPS Dome module

The IDPS Dome module is part of the fully assembled and tested unit and pre installed on well location prior to rig arrival. The Dome can be remotely operated by control room or ROV, and is fully retrievable if required.

IDPS Module

The IDPS Module includes the compact flange and production system main body as well as the integrated isolation valves. The module is pre installed as part of the fully assembled and tested unit. Internally, the body is prepared for casing and tubing hangers, with a horizontal production outlet.

IDPS Valve module

The IDPS Valve module is part of the fully assembled and tested unit, and includes all necessary production barrier valves and sensors. The module may be retrieved for repair, interventions or modifications.

IDPS Control module

The IDPS Control Module is part of the fully assembled and tested unit. It may be retrieved as required. Hydraulic and electric controls utilize ROV hot stab valves to a large extent to enable quick change out and repair if required.

IDPS Multicap

The IDPS Multicap will be installed as teh final operation after completing teh well, and includes orientation functionalities and full vertical access with plugs, electric and hydraulic controls to the well.

IDPS Flowline System

The IDPS Flowline system is part of the fully assembled and tested unit, and interfaces the production tie in system with production flow line access to the well. The flow line is connected after the well is completed.

IDPS Umbilical System

The Umbilical system is part of the fully assembled and tested unit, and is connected to the subsea umbilical system electric and hydraulic controls after the well is completed.

IDPS Foundation

The IDPS well foundation is part of the fully assembled and tested unit, and includes a CAN well foundation, well construction adapters for well construction and production system interfaces and arrangements. Further details are give below.

Compact Flange

The Compact Flange is a high strength connection which connects the HPWHH and the CWSDA, with design and specifications from NST in cooperation with TP Connectors.

Compact Well Stress Distribution Adaptor

The Compact Well Stress Distrubution Adapter (CWSDA) is delivered by NST and is machinened from one forging and will be welded to the structural components of the suction anchor (CAN by Neodrill).

Well Construction Adaptor Subs

Applicable arrangements of well construction adapter subs will be installed below the CWSDA to facilitate cementing evacuation and the applicable well construction program.

Suction Anchor (CAN)

The CAN suction anchor will be delivered by Neodrill as per standard specifications.

Well Construction material

Applicable well construction material such as casing hangers, seal assemblies and running tools will be supplied by the SPS supplier.
